Day 01: Welcome to Argentina: travel to Buenos Aires
Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to the and you’ll have the rest of the day to enjoy Buenos Aires at your own pace.

Buenos Aires is a marvelous, furious, cosmopolitan city, full of plenty of colours and different kind of architecture. Capital of Argentina and described as the Paris of South America, Buenos Aires proudly embraces this title, as well as showing off plenty of its own culture! Argentines are usually eager to host visitors: if you walk the streets with a map, someone will surely stop and ask if you need directions. That’s our spirit! So, for this first day, be free to wander the cobblestone streets lined with outdoor cafes, enjoy the the mouthwatering aroma of prized Argentine beef sizzling on an open “parrilla” (barbeque), and browse the local antique and artisan markets that offer plenty of bargain shopping.

Day 02: Discover Buenos Aires: half day city tour
In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel (private service) to enjoy our traditional Buenos Aires city tour.

You will be swept away by the highlights of our beloved Buenos Aires. Over the course of a half day you will have the chance to visit the historical and political center of the city around May Square (Plaza de Mayo) and the Pink House (the presidential house). San Telmo with its cobblestone streets and the oldest residential neighborhood and La Boca where Buenos Aires turns colorful and tango is ever present: come to walk Caminito street and dance with the locals. The next stop the chic and aristocratic Recoleta, where the big palaces remind us that Buenos Aires was once the “Paris of the South”.

At the end of the tour you will be driven back to your hotel.

Day 03: Patagonia trip: from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia
At the appropriate time you will be transferred (private service) to the domestic airport to take your flight and travel to Ushuaia, the famous “end of the world” most popular destination.

Upon arrival you will be taken to the hotel (shared service) from where you can make a short walk through the city centre.

Ushuaia is a small town, really easy to get around on foot. The Yamanas, its first inhabitants, called it Ushuaia which means “protected bay” in their language. Ushuaia was officially incorporated into the Republic of Argentina in 1884, and it soon became a penal colony, in order to establish a permanent Argentine settlement. Take the afternoon to explore the town: its typical artisanal shops with unique handicrafts, such as native masks or learn of the region’s history at the Prisoners Museums. And please, don’t forget the local gastronomy! Ushuaia is the best place to eat seafood.

Day 04: Full day Trekking & Canoeing in the National Park
We will pick you up at your hotel in the morning to start the excursion (shared service).

Today you will visit Tierra del Fuego National Park, just 12 km away from the city and lying on the shore of the famous Channel sailed by Charles Darwin. Once at Ensenada Bay, you will have time to enjoy the view over the Beagle Channel before start hiking along the coast.Six kilometers of wild trail await you where you’ll discover native flora and wild fauna. Discover the remains left by the Yamanas, the native inhabitants of the área. After this 3 hour hike, you will reach Lake Roca where lunch (included) will be served. After a full homemade picnic you will start the second part of this adventure. Take your oar and plunge to start a 1 h 30 canoeing trip* along Lapataia river. Make all the way till Lapataia Bay, where the Panamerican Highway and National Route 3 ends at an awe-inspiring landscape. After discovering the unique vastness of this forbidding setting, you won’t regret a second of this haunting journey.

At the end of the excursion we’ll drive you back to your hotel.

Day 05: Half day Beagle Channel navigation
Today you will make your way to the port at downtown to take the Beagle Channel navigation.

In 1833 Charles Darwin sailed the Beagle Channel and discover something great. Today is your turn: become another explorer of this channel, primitively named Onashaga Channel since the Onas where its first sailers. You’ll make your way to the tourist pier (at downtown) to embark on a boat trip along the famous Channel. You will gain panoramas of Ushuaia Bay where the city lies proudly crowned by the Martial Glacier. Unearth the diverse marine wildlife, such as cormorants (flying birds, closely related to penguins) and fur seals which frolic its time away on Alicia Island. Argentina standing at your left and Chili at your right, you’ll sail this natural border till reach the iconic end-of-the-world lighthouse, the ancient guard of the bay. On your way back, you’ll stop at Bridges Island to walk a wildlife interpretative path, lear about Yaman’s history (the native inhabitants) and see the largest shelly deposits of the region.

You’ll be brought back to the port from where you’ll make your way to your hotel.

Day 06: From Ushuaia to El Calafate
Today you will be driven to the airport (shared service) to take your short flight to El Calafate, another favorite of adventure travelers who chace to unearth the most spellbinding natural wonders, like the Perito Moreno Glacier.

The Perito Moreno glacier is one of the only glaciers in the world that’s still advancing. Though it’s not the only glacier in the area is the one that made the city of El Calafate famous worldwide. For many years now, El Calafate has been considered capital of the glaciers. Located at the shore of Lago Argentino (the southernmost, largest Patagonian lake) it’s also home of the Spegazzini glacier, which forms the natural border between Argentina and Chile, and the Upsala glacier, named “Glaciar del Gigante” (Giant’s glacier) upon its discovery and the biggest glacier that sits at the mouth of Lake Argentino. So is El Calafate all about the glaciers? Well, yes and no…glaciers are main attractions that you can visit via hiking or a boat ride. But you have lot more to discover about Argentine rural culture. From Calafate you can also visit a typical Patagonian “finca” (ranch) and learn all about the gaucho culture and enjoy a great “asado” (barbecue). You’ll soon realize that Calafate is much more than the gateway to the Perito Moreno glacier.

Upon arrival you will be taken to the hotel (shared service) and have the rest of the day to relax or explore the areas around the town.

Day 07: Full day Perito Moreno Glacier tour
In the morning, you will be driven (shared service) to Glaciers National Park to take the Perito Moreno Glacier tour. Get prepared to play with the giants!

Los Glaciares National Park has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1981 and home to 200 approximately glaciers . Half of this park is occupied by the “campo de hielo patagónico” (Patagonian ice field), the largest ice field after Antarctica . You will travel 40 km (about 25 miles) from El Calafate to the park, enjoying the views of the Patagonian steppe. Once inside the park you will take the walkways to explore the different viewpoints, and you’ll feel really close to the Perito Moreno Glacier. If you’re lucky, you may get to see a piece of ice break off and fall from the glacier wall to sink forever into the lake. During about one hour, a bilingual guide will provide you with all the information you might want to know…and things you might have never thought about. After this visit you will take a boat ride that will take you close enough to fully appreciate the 80 meter (262 feet) high ice walls of Perito Moreno! You’ll never feel closer to this gigantic and impressive natural masterpiece.

At the end of the tour you will be driven back to your hotel.

Day 8: Your free day at El Calafate
“If we got this further, why stop now?”, that’s what most travelers says, willing to make the best of their time in Patagonia. That’s why most people choose to spend this free day visiting Torres del Paine, a spectacular and worldwide famous biosphere reserve. You can take a day tour, across the Chilean border, to hike different path of this National Park. You’ll take short and easy hikes to get to the most stunning viewpoints. You’ll get to see the famous Cuernos del Paine jagging the sky and the emerald waters of Nordenskjold Lake.

Note: this day tour is restricted to pregnant women, people with overweight (max 110 kgs), some type of disability, or health problems, children under 10 and adults over 75 years old.

Day 9: Goodbye Patagonia! From El Calafate to Iguazú Falls
Today you will leave the freezing weather and fly to jungle. At the appropriate time you will be transferred to the domestic airport to take your flight to Puerto Iguazú (shared service). The small border town of Puerto Iguazú is the gateway to visit the impressive Iguazú Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage site, making it a must-see destination for any traveler visiting Argentina.

Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport and provided a transfer to your hotel.

Answer the call of vacations and take your time to relax at your hotel. If you’re eager to explore, you can visit the “Hito tres fronteras”, a viewpoint west of the town center that stands high above the turbulent reddish-brown junction of the Iguazú and Paraná rivers, which also form the Triple Frontera, or Triple Border between Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. Or visit the Güirá Oga (the house of birds in native Guaraní language), the sanctuary for animals hurt by illegal hunting and trapping.

Day 10: Iguazú Falls: full day Argentine side of the falls tour
Today our driver and bilingual guide will pick you up at your hotel and drive you to the National Park, on the Argentinian side (private service).
The falls are surrounded by a humid subtropical forest where the exuberant vegetation is home to many different animals and birds. Our guide will help you spot some of them: ant birds, toucans, manakins, parrots, coatis, just to name a few of the most common birds. Lower and upper walkways weave in and around falls permitting up close and personal experiences with this magnificent spectacle of nature. The Argentine side of the falls is filled with a myriad of paths and walkways and stairways which allow you to have an experience from many different perspectives. You will have the chance to meet “The Devil’s throat”: the largest of the falls and for many the most spellbinding. To get to the Devil’s throat you take the ecological train and then walk out along boardwalks. After walking and taking pictures of animals and plants, you will have some free time to eat lunch (not included) in this amazing environment . This excursion is highly recommended in order to experience the true power of Iguazú falls.
At the end of this exciting tour you will be driven back to your hotel.

Day 11: Iguazú Falls tours: Brazilian side / Travel back to Buenos Aires
After breakfast, our driver and bilingual guide will pick you up at your hotel and drive you to the National Park, on the Brazilian side (private service). Don´t forget your passport!
While Argentina has 80% of the falls on its side, Brazil has the best panoramic view. On the Argentinian side you had the sensation of being right inside the falls, but only by visiting the Brazilian side you will fully appreciate the immensity of Iguazú Falls. Take your time to enjoy it and feel it, to stroll the different walkways and feel the spray of water in your face. Take the boardwalk over the Salto Santa María, it feels like walking on the water. Get closer to the Devil’s Throat and feel the power of water! We are sure this is a day you will never forget.

At the end of the tour you will be driven back to your hotel

Day 12: Depart Buenos Aires
You will be transferred to the international airport for your flight back home.

Day 02: Buenos Aires
In the morning, join our Traditional City Tour visiting the best of Buenos Aires: La Boca, San Telmo, 9 de Julio Avenue and the Obelisk, Puerto Madero, Corrientes Avenue, Colon Theatre, Recoleta. Then, free time. We suggest walking in Recoleta area or having lunch in an excellent restaurant in Puerto Madero, a newly renovated area with many restaurants to choose from.

In the evening, enjoy a dinner Tango Show in La Ventana, one of the best tango houses in Buenos Aires. Return to hotel and overnight.

Day 03: Buenos Aires
In the morning, start an excursion to a traditional “estancia” or farm in the Pampas. This excursion called “Fiesta Gaucha” includes meals and gaucho activities with horses. One of the famous is the “Carrera Cuadrera” or Cuadrera Race.

Return to the city. Overnight.

Day 04: Buenos Aires – El Calafate
After breakfast, transfer to Airport to take a flight to El Calafate. Arrival, reception and transfer to hotel. Free time. We suggest to walk the city, and taste the local lamb, called “Cordero Patagónico”.

Day 05: El Calafate
After breakfast, we start the excursion to visit the incredible Perito Moreno Glacier. We can enjoy the incredible experience of this colossus of ice, with enormous blocks of ice falling into the Argentino Lake, with a thunderous crash. Perito Moreno is a UNESCO World Heritage and one of the most incredible places in the world.

Return to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 06: El Calafate
After breakfast, we start an excursion to Rios de Hielo Express to visit three incredible glaciers: Upsala, Onelli and Spegazzini Glaciers. This is a wonderful navigation along the waters of Argentino Lake. You can enjoy icebergs floating around in the lake.

The name of the park is Los Glaciares National Park, and it´s one of the highlights of Patagonia. Return to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 07: El Calafate – Iguazu Falls
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to take a flight to Buenos Aires, to connect with your flight to Iguazu. Arrival and transfer to your hotel.

Day 08: Iguazu Falls
After breakfast, we start excursion to visit Iguazu Falls Argentinean Side. The Iguazu National Park is an amazing place, declared Unesco World Heritage and one of the new 7-wonders of nature. We visit the upper circuit, the lower circuit and the trail to the Devil´s Throat. The landscape is amazing.

The visit includes a ride in the Ecological Train of the Forest. Entrance fee to National Park is included. Return to the hotel. Overnight.

Day 09: Iguazu Falls
After breakfast, we will visit Iguazu Falls, Brazilian side. The Parque Nacional do Iguaçu offers a bus ride in the jungle and a panoramic view of the falls located on the Argentinian side, and some of then on the Brazilian side, along with a 1500 m trail and an elevator. It´s a half day trip. Return to the hotel. Overnight

Day 10: Departure
After breakfast, free time until transfer to airport to take flight back to Buenos Aires or any other destination. End of our services.

Day 01: Ushuaia, Patagonia
Arrive in Ushuaia, the end of the world, and then transfer to your hotel.

Day 02: Trek and canoe in Tierra del Fuego National Park
You will be collected at your hotel (shared service) and brought to the Tierra del Fuego National Park. Once in Ensenada Bay, you’ll have time to enjoy the view over the Beagle Channel before starting the walk along the coast.

This six-kilometre route allows you to observe the flora and wildlife as well as discovering traces of the area’s ancient indigenous people, the Yamana. After 3 hours you will arrive at Lake Roca, where lunch will be served.

After a picnic, there is a canoe trip down the river Lapataia, which will take you to Lapataia in the Beagle Channel where the Panamerican Highway and the National Highway No. 3 end.

Day 03: Navigating the Beagle Channel
After breakfast, make your way to the tourist wharf where you will board a boat to sail through the Beagle Channel. The tour offers panoramic views of the city of Ushuaia, and of the diverse marine fauna, such as cormorants and sea lions and the islands of Lobo and De Los Pajaros.

If the winds permit, land on one of the island’s bridges, where you can see the remains of giant shells and enjoy views of Chile and Argentina.

Next, you can explore Les Eclaireurs, known as the “Lighthouse at the end of the world”.

Day 04: Ushuaia – El Calafate
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Calafate.

Arrive at Calafate, the capital of the glaciers and gateway to the Perito Moreno Glacier.

Upon arrival you will be taken to the hotel and have the rest of the day to relax or explore the city. You could also walk to Laguna Nimez in time for the beautiful Patagonian sunset.

Day 05: Perito Moreno Glacier
After breakfast you will start the full day excursion to Perito Moreno. In Glacier National Park, you will take the route along Lake Argentino where, 80km from El Calafate, the Perito Moreno is revealed by its 70m high walls of ice. Numerous walkways leading to the front of the glacier (there are approximately 5 km gateways) offer both a visual and audio experience, with each different view soundtracked by the constant ruptures and echoes of the iceberg. The tour also includes a short boat trip past the glacier.

You will return to the hotel in the evening.

Day 06: El Calafate, Patagonia
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport or bus terminal in time for your departure.

Day 01: Buenos Aires
Welcome to Buenos Aires, the Paris of South America. We will receive you at Ezeiza International Airport and transfer you to your hotel by a private vehicle.

In the afternoon, enjoy our half-day city tour with an experienced tour guide. Explore the cultural capital of South America. Discover its quaint, traditional neighborhoods, its multitude of races and cultures and its rich tradition that finds expression in its dances, most notably Tango, folklore, gauchos and football.

Among the many places to visit in the city are Plaza de Mayo and its surroundings and the residential neighborhoods of San Telmo, La Boca, Recoleta and Retiro.

After the city tour, enjoy a delicious three-course dinner paired with the best Argentine wines.

Day 02: Puerto Madryn and Peninsula Valdés
Today we will transfer you to the airport of Buenos Aires, where you will catch your flight to Puerto Madryn. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Puerto Madryn, an entry point for those visiting the Valdés Peninsula.

Day 03: Watching penguins in Punta Tombo
Visit the protected area of Punta Tombo, which can have as many as 500,000 Magellan penguins during the breeding season from September through the end of March. See how they compete among each other for space, protection and taking control of their nests.

You also have the optional seeing Patagonian dolphins, or Toninas. This tour should be hired and paid on spot since it depends on weather conditions.

Day 04: Whale-watching in the Valdés Peninsula
Travel from Puerto Pirámides for your day-long, whale-watching adventure in the Peninsula Valdés. Try detecting the sounds of the docile whales amidst the roar of waves crashing against the boat. See a rich fauna consisting mainly of sea lions and elephant seals in the peninsula.

The whale-watching takes place from June through mid-December. During other times, a sailing trip to watch sea lions and sea birds will be done instead. However, this also depends upon weather conditions.

Day 05: Travel to Ushuaia, the southernmost city
Transfer from your hotel in Puerto Madryn to Trelew Airport to take your flight to Ushuaia. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Also known as the ‘End of the World’, this resort town sits atop a steep hill and is surrounded by the Martial Mountains on the one side and the Beagle Channel on the other.

Day 06: Tierra del Fuego National Park
Explore Tierra del Fuego National Park, the only National Park in Argentina with a coastline along the Beagle Channel. Visit the Ensenada Bay and Lake Roca. Take a ride on board the End of the World Train. Appreciate the beauty of the cohiues and lengas forests along the way.

You can also choose the option of navigating the Beagle Channel and seeing Les Eclaireurs lighthouse, located 5 nautical miles east of Ushuaia.

Day 07: Lakes Fagnano & Escondido
Cross the Andes to reach Tierra del Fuego, whose inhospitable landscape includes glaciers and snowy mountains dotted with wind-sculpted trees that thrive in tundra. Visit the two lakes of Fagnano and Escondido.

Day 8: El Calafate
Today we will transfer you to Ushuaia airport to take your flight to El Calafate. On reaching your new destination, we will transfer you to your hotel.

Day 9: Explore the Perito Moreno Glacier
Visit the magnificent Perito Moreno Glacier, one of Patagonia’s most spectacular sites. Appreciate the beauty of the unique Patagonia landscape along the foothills of the Andes in your way.

The Perito Moreno Glacier is located in Los Glaciares National Park, a UNESCO heritage site. Travel to the footbridge area near the glacier to appreciate its size. Take a boat trip around the glacier, sail to the Témpanos Channel to get closer to the glacier and see its detachments.

Day 10: A free day in El Calafate
You have the day for yourself. To better enjoy your leisure hours, we suggest adding one of the following optional tours in your itinerary:

Navigate through glaciers and icebergs
Visit the Upsala Glacier and Cristina Ranch
Enjoy a day in Nibepo Aike Ranch and tour around Patagonia. Conquer the steppe, watch ranchers shearing sheep in an estancia and taste delicious lamb meat

Day 11: Bariloche
Transfer to El Calafate airport for your flight to Bariloche, a region famous for its gleaming lakes and pristine sceneries. We will receive you at Bariloche airport and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 12: Victoria Island and the myrtle forest
Sail for 30 minutes to Puerto Anchorena on Victoria Island. Get the chance to go out on an excursion or for a hike across the island. Ascend to the summit of 900-meter-high Mount Bella Vista by a chairlift. Visit some spectacular vantage points and enjoy some of the best views of the surrounding area on your way down.

Head for Puerto Quetrihue and visit the myrtle forest. See ancient trees with smooth, cinnamon-colored barks. This particular forest is unique in the world. It bears white flowers resembling the orange blossom, while its purple-colored fruit is delicious. The forest has been declared a natural monument and human activities have been restricted in this area.

Day 13: Leisure day in Bariloche
Today is your off day again. You have the chance to enjoy Bariloche on your own. In case you are thinking about ways to spend your free hours, here are some optional tours that might interest you.

Travel down the Seven Lakes route and visit one of the prettiest areas of Patagonia. See the spectacular water mirrors inserted in the mountains before you reach San Martín de los Andes.

Visit Lake Gutiérrez and Lake Mascardi to reach the foot of Cerro Tronador. Walk further to reach the tongue of the Ventisquero Negro Glacier, a black-colored glacier that originates from the immaculate, white Cerro Tronador.

Day 14: Salta
Bye bye to the lake region. Today we will transfer you to the airport, where you will catch your flight to Salta to see the colorful mountains of the Northwest. Reception at Salta airport and transfer to your hotel.

Day 15: The Quebrada Valley
Your journey through the Northwest begins by travelling the path parallel to the railway tracks of the famous Tren de las Nubes, through Quebrada del Toro, climbing 4,000 meters above the mean sea level to reach San Antonio de los Cobres, a beautiful town frozen in time.

Continue driving down Route 40, reaching Salinas Grandes, the precise border between Salta and Jujuy. Descend Cuesta de Lipán, from where you can catch the sight of condors soaring in the sky, to arrive to the town of Purmamarca, famous for Cerro de los Siete Colores, one of the hills bordering the Quebrada de Purmamarca Valley. Spend your night in the charming, mountainous valley of Quebrada.

Day 16: The Humahuaca Gorge, return to Salta
The journey begins from Purmamarca and travels around the Humahuaca Gorge, declared a heritage of humanity by UNESCO. Your visits of the day also include Posta de Hornillos, Tilcara, and Huacalera. Passing through the Tropic of Capricorn, you will also visit the Uquía Church and Maimará.

Return to Salta after the tour is over.

Day 17: A day tour to the Cafayate wine area
Head to the Calchaquíes Valley passing through an area popular for tobacco, cotton, sugarcane and fruit trees. Travel to Río de las Conchas admiring the unusual geographical formations and colorful landscape of a place whose origins go back to over sixty million years.

The landscape you see around you is the result of a dry environment. Moving forward, you will be able to see extensions of vineyards, a sign that you are getting close to the area of Cafayate where the famous Torrontés wine is made. Visit a winery to see the process involved in producing wine and taste the varieties they have to offer. Return to Salta at the end of the day.

Day 18: From Salta to Iguazú
From colorful mountains to the jungle now. Today we will transfer you to the airport in Salta from where you will take a flight to Iguazú. Upon arrival, transfer to your to hotel.

Day 19: Iguazú Falls, Argentine side
Visit the spectacular Iguazú Falls, one of the most beautiful places on the planet. Start your journey through the jungle in the Ecological Train and visit the famous Devil´s Throat. Travel down a long walkway until you reach a popular viewpoint from where to observe the gorge.

Take a trip through both the upper and lower walkways around the fall and enjoy the beauty of Iguazú from various vantage points.

Day 20: Iguazú Falls on Brazilian side, fly to Buenos Aires
Take a half-day trip to the Brazilian side of the falls, which is famous for the panoramic views of the waterfall that it offers. After the trip,transfer to Puerto Iguazú airport to catch your flight to Buenos Aires. We will receive at Buenos Aires airport and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 21: A free day in Buenos Aires
Stroll around Buenos Aires, the Paris of South America, on your own. Don´t miss visiting the Colón Theater, Tortoni Café and the trendy Palermo Soho.

We do suggest adding some of the following optional tours prior to your arrival:

Sail in the Tigre Delta, a unique ecosystem just 30 minutes away from downtown Buenos Aires. Discover the people who live along the channel and their peculiar ways of life. This area was chosen by aristocratic families for their summer holidays during the late 19th century.

Enjoy a visit to an estancia. Get to know the Pampas and the gauchos, famous for traversing this grassy landscape on horseback following their cattle, as well as the dances and the folklore that are typical to Argentina. Taste an Argentine barbecue.

Sit down for a Tango show accompanied by dinner. A visit to Buenos Aires is incomplete without attending a Tango salon. From popular international shows to smaller and more traditional milongas, the city offers you different flavours of the dance. Don´t hesitate to indicate your preference.

Day 22: End of your journey
The tour has finally come to an end. At a pre-arranged hour, we will transfer you to Buenos Aires airport from where you will catch your flight back home.

This afternoon, tour the exciting and seductive city of Buenos Aires! This tour includes a bilingual tour guide and visits to typical neighborhoods like La Boca, Palermo, Recoleta, and the Colon Theater, the National Congress and the Presidential Palace. Experience the highlights of Buenos Aires, and appreciate this great city. This is a great introduction to main sites of interest that you can visit with free time throughout the rest of the trip.

Day 02: Tigre Delta and Tango
Just north of Buenos Aires, the island city of Tigre is a region travelers should not miss to get out of the city center and explore the countryside. A serene riverside train ride takes you into Tigre. Visit the famous fruit market. Rustic weaves, cane and willow furniture, sugary sweets, exotic flowers and, of course, numerous varieties of native fruit tempt you as you make your way through this bustling market. A guided ferry tour of the beautiful delta ends this five-hour excursion. Day 03: Meet Mendoza
Enjoy a leisurely morning before transferring to the airport for your flight on to Mendoza, Argentina’s region that produces nearly 70% of the country’s wine. Prolific and beautiful, the Central Andes command the horizon and provide this region with an unforgettable landscape. Your guide meets you at the airport to take you on a tour of the city including the original city foundations at Plaza Pedro del Castillo. Visit its bustling central plazas and celebrated General San Martin park. After the tour, check-in to your hotel and visit Mendoza’s outdoor cafes that are perfect for dinner or sipping wine as the sun sets over the city. Relax and toast your travels.

Day 04: Cooking Class and Wine Tasting
Learn the secrets of Argentine cuisine! After breakfast, the guide picks you up from the hotel for a morning wine tasting tour of one of Mendoza’s pristine vineyards. Next you are joined by an expert Argentine chef who shares secrets about the delicate science and art of pairing a great wine with a great meal. This is an exclusive cooking class where you can learn not only how to prepare a traditional Mendocino dish, but also the local histories and customs that go behind Argentine cuisine. After a private lunch – stomachs happily content – spend time enjoying a tasting at this winery. You quickly come to appreciate the detailed process that goes into making each wine independent and unique.

Day 05: Free Day in Mendoza
Today is a free day to discover the natural beauty of the Mendoza region. Spend the day relaxing with a glass of wine. Or you have optional tours that can be arranged locally, depending on your preferences.

Travelers can choose to traverse the countryside on horseback or take a moderate trek to Quebrada del Salto waterfalls. The horseback riding tour takes roughly 2 hours around Potrerillos and Cacheuta. This horseback riding trip is designed for beginners. For those interested in exploring the countryside by foot instead, enjoy a 3-hour trekking journey that ventures the mountainous, canyon-filled landscape of Quebrada (Gulch) del Salta. At the gulch’s waterfalls, trekkers have the option of taking an 18-meter rappel. In the late afternoon, return to Mendoza city and explore the city at your leisure.

Another option is to continue to explore the wineries of the Mendoza valley with a visit to Lujan de Cuyo, one of the most important wine regions in Argentina. The morning begins with visiting the vineyards and sampling the wine at Tapiz Bodega. Next travel a short 15 minutes southwest of Mendoza to Achaval Ferrer winery to taste the distinct wines of this exclusive vineyard. Finish the tour at Ruca Malen winery and lunch in the shadow of Los Andes mountain range. (Estimated 6-hour tour)

Day 06: Fly Bariloche | Estancia Peuma Hue
Enjoy a leisurely morning before transferring to the airport for your flight on to Bariloche, routing through Buenos Aires or direct (see start date options below). Transfer from Bariloche to the nearby Estancia Peuma Hue, or “Place of dreams”, your new home for the next 4 nights. Here you can enjoy a beautiful lakeside setting, warm welcoming hosts, and the perfect environment to relax in and experience the Patagonia outdoors. Depending on your arrival, settle in and enjoy a mild horseback ride to acquaint yourself with the area and a welcome massage.

Day 7-8: Patagonia Exploration
Enjoy a free day to choose your own excursions. Numerous hiking options are available to nearby waterfalls, lakes, and valleys with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Also available are guided horseback rides, paddles on the lake in duckies or kayaks, mountain ropes challenge course, fly fishing, trolling, and just relaxing by the lake. Enjoy some Argentina cuisine demonstrations with the local chef if you prefer, or arrange for another massage for some extra pampering. You may opt to arrange for excursions to nearby Villa La Angostura, San Martin de los Andes, El Bolson, or Lake Nahuel Huapi as you prefer. Arrange to ski at Cerro Catedral during the winter months as well.

Day 09: Return to Buenos Aires
Today Return to the airport in the afternoon for your flight back to Buenos Aires. On arrival transfer to hotel.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 10: Depart Buenos Aires
Final departure transfer to airport for flight back to home.
