<span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Welcome to La Paz! Today, you will be picked-up from the airport and transferred to your accommodation.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Day 02: La Paz</span></strong><br />
<span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">La Paz Half-Day Walking City Tour</span><br />
<span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Today, we will take the famous &#8220;Mi Teleférico&#8221; cable car up to El Alto, one of La Paz&#8217; suburbs. El Alto is located at a dizzying 13,615ft (4,000m) above sea level and is one of the highest cities in the world! Then, we will “trek” our way down to the center of La Paz. We will visit the streets like locals during the 4-hour descent through markets, neighborhoods, plazas, and alleyways. To top it off, we will take a micro or local bus to the heart of the market area. Here, we will be able to shop around and go to different markets, including the famous Witch’s Market. Time at leisure to have lunch and explore the city on our own.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Day 03: La Paz &#8211; Sun Island</span></strong><br />
<span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Transfer to Copacabana and the Sun Island</span><br />
<span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Today, you will be picked-up from your accommodation around 06:30 &#8211; 07:00 hrs and you will departure by tourist bus to Copacabana. Around 09:45 hrs we will arrive at the Tiquina strait, from where we will take a small ferry to cross it (about 20min.) After this, we will go back to the bus and continue to Copacabana arriving around noon. After enjoying your lunch, at 13:00 hrs we will take a ferry to the Sun Island (1 ½ hrs.) We will receive a map from the guide to be able to explore the Island. Today you can walk around the sun temple Pilkokaina and the coast of Yumani.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Day 04: Sun Island &#8211; La Paz</span></strong><br />
<span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Transfer back to La Paz</span><br />
<span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Free time to wander around the Sun Island. You can take a public boat to the northern end of the Island (30min. approx.) and hike about 3 hours back down to the south alongside spectacular views. You can also visit the Gold Museum, located in the northern part of the Island. It’s a tiny, but fascinating museum filled with recovered artifacts. Finally, you can also visit the Fountain of Youth, believed to keep you young forever, it has 3 streams of water pouring out each with their own nickname. At 15:30, we will take the ferry back to Copacabana (departure from Yumani port). Upon arrival, we will take the bus back to La Paz arriving around 22:00 hrs. NOTE: Cost of the boat + entrances are not included.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Day 05: La Paz &#8211; Uyuni</span></strong><br />
<span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Transfer to Uyuni</span><br />
<span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Today you will have a day at leisure to take a rest and explore the city on your own. At 20:00 hrs, you will be picked-up from the hotel and transferred to the bus station where you will catch your overnight bus to Uyuni.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Day 06: Uyuni &#8211; San Juan or Atulcha</span></strong><br />
<span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Uyuni Salt Flats</span><br />
<span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Around 07:00 hrs you will be picked-up from the bus station and have time at leisure to enjoy your breakfast. The trip will begin at 10:30 hrs. We will first visit the Train cemetery (very old locomotives from the Carbon era), and the town of Colchani, where we will see the manual processing of salt, handicrafts and salt museum. Then, we will enter the Uyuni salt flats (12,000 km2) and will see the “Montones de sal” and how locals extract the salt. We will visit Playa Blanca hotel and the Incahuasi Island with its giant cacti that is located in the middle of the salt flats. We will have lunch there, enjoying an amazing view. Then, we will continue our trip to the town of San Juan or Atulcha (3,700 masl). You will overnight at a small salt hostel.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Day 07: San Juan or Atulcha &#8211; Huayllajara</span></strong><br />
<span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Salar de Chiguana, Eduardo Avaroa Andean Flora and Fauna Reserve, and Laguna Colorada.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Today we will depart at 08:30 hrs. We will visit Salar de Chiguana, viewpoint of the Ollague Volcano (active), to later continue the tour and visit the Andean lagoons of Cañapa, Chiarcota, and Hedionda, located at an average altitude of 4,300masl. Here, we can see flamingos, vicuñas or other Andean fauna. We will then pass through the Siloli desert and visit the Stone Tree, formed due to the erosion. In the afternoon, we will visit Laguna Colorada (4,300masl) where we can see more wild animals. We will continue to Huayllajara, where our small hostel is located at an average altitude of 4,300masl. Please consider that the temperature is very low at night (even -20 °C), therefore it is recommended to bring a sleeping bag.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Day 08: Huayllajara &#8211; Uyuni &#8211; La Paz</span></strong><br />
<span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Sol de Mañana geysers, Polques, Green Lagoon and transfer to La Paz.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Today, we will depart at 05:00 hrs to visit the active geysers of Sol de Mañana, which are located at an altitude of 4,900masl. We will see the fumaroles or boiling lava at a temperature of 90° C. Then, we will continue to the thermal waters of Polques, where we can take a hot bath. We will pass through the Dalí desert until we reach the Laguna Verde and Laguna Blanca, located at the foot of the Licancabur volcano. After this, we will return to the Uyuni town (approx. 7 hours) without many stops except at noon for lunch and a visit to the rock valley in Villamar. We will be arriving in Uyuni around 17:00hrs, where you will have time at leisure to eat and visit the town. In the evening, you will be transferred to the bus station to take the overnight bus back to La Paz at 20:00 hrs.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Day 09: La Paz, Bolivia</span></strong><br />

<span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Get into the heart of La Paz with your experienced local guide who will take you around to the best highlights of the city and show you what real life is like for most Paceños (La Paz residents). Begin the day at Plaza Murillo with its beautiful architecture for a perfect introduction into Bolivia’s history and culture. Learn about the current social and political situation in Bolivia as we walk by Murillo Square with the Presidential Palace and House of Parliament. We will be stopping to sample a traditional mid-morning snack.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Next, we will visit the outside of San Pedro Prison from the book “Marching Powder” with your local guide who will explain why this prison is so famous and will also share a few strange bone-chilling stories about this infamous prison.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Next, you will jump into a local transportation to head towards an unknown, but spectacular viewpoint. Take a moment here, to enjoy the life happening bellow you in La Paz, enjoy the slow rhythm of the place you are at the moment. And once you have taken all the photos you want you will jump back in the local transport to reach the local witch market. Take a walk through the market and maybe you can find a magic spell you have been longing for!</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">You will have an exciting return back to La Paz on a cable car; be sure to capture the views! We will be stopping by another market where you will have time to buy last minute souvenirs if you wish. Your exploration of La Paz will end upon our return to Plaza Murillo (around 12:30pm). We wish you safe travels onwards!</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Day 03: La Paz</span></strong><br />
<span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">If you’re an adventure lover, this day trip is for you! Ride the Most Dangerous Road to get your adrenaline pumping. Cruise along this infamous dirt track, navigate hair-raising curves with sheer vertical drops and witness sweeping views of the valley below. Begin the adventure in La Cumbre (4,700m) and descend 3,500 meters in approximately 4 or 5 hours, passing high altitude snowy peaks, beautiful waterfalls, and lush jungle scenery.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Depart La Paz around 7:30 am and make your ascent by van to La Cumbre (4,700 meters). Here we will check our equipment and listen to an important safety briefing from our guides. After crossing the tourist checkpoint, our downhill adventure begins. Along the way, take a rest stop at Unduavi to fuel up on water and receive additional safety instructions before we pass by the Curve of Death, with stunning waterfall views and a vertical drop. Pass through lush jungle scenery with breathtaking views of the valley and river below as you cruise down to Yolosa at (1,200 meters), where our bike ride comes to an end. Here you will also have the chance to participate in an optional zipline. Relax a bit more before we make our return trip to La Paz, arriving around 9:00 pm.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Day 04: Isla del Sol</span></strong><br />
<span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Visit Copacabana &amp; hike Isla del Sol</span><br />
<span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Pick up at your accommodation in La Paz at approximately 7:00 a.m. for a shared bus transfer to the lakeside town of Copacabana. Arrive around noon short visit of the church and main plaza, and then take a boat to Isla del Sol (Sun Island) where you will hike to the top of the island on a traditional Inca stairway, the &#8220;Escalinatas de Yumandi&#8221;. Pass by the fountain of eternal youth natural spring and drink fresh water from the mountain. As you reach the top of the island, you will be rewarded with spectacular views from either side with the snow-capped Bolivian Andes in the distance. Have dinner (not included) and get a good night’s rest on this peaceful island in the middle of Lake Titicaca.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Day 05: La Paz</span></strong><br />
<span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Walk to Pilkokaina temple and return to La Paz.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">After enjoying a delicious breakfast, go on a 2-hour guided walk to reach Pilkokaina Temple. Take a boat ride back to the Copacabana town for lunch, and then take a bus transfer back to La Paz bus terminal, where this amazing adventure will come to an end around 17:30 hrs.Enjoy a guided walk to Pilkokaina temple, before returning to La Paz after lunch.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Day 06: Uyuni</span></strong><br />

<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Day 07: Villa Candelaria</span></strong><br />
<span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Uyuni &#8211; Colchani &#8211; Incahuasi Island &#8211; Pia Pia Island &#8211; Candelaria</span><br />
<span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Your tour will begin at 10:30 am, at the meeting point. The first stop will be Uyuni&#8217;s &#8216;train graveyard&#8217;, to see the first locomotives in Bolivia. You’ll visit the small settlement of Colchani (salt miners’ workshops next to the salt flats). Here, you’ll see handicrafts made of salt, and textile art made of llama and alpaca fiber. The tour will continue onto the Great Salt Flats of Uyuni. Take photos as you cruise along the vast white expanse of salt, see Los Ojos de Agua Salada (‘salt water eyes’) and then visit a hotel made completely of salt! This amazing place currently serves as a museum.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Following this jam-packed morning, you’ll carry on to “Isla Incahuasi” (Fish Island), where you will have time to take a hike to the top of the island to see giant cacti, and rock formations made of petrified coral. Make sure you and your group pose for some fun perspective- and proportion-distorted photos, taken against the backdrop of the striking white surface of the salt flats.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Then, you’ll head to Pia Pia island, to see the beautiful sunset over the salt flats. Finish off at the village of Candelaria, and enjoy the unique experience of spending the night in a hotel made almost entirely of salt.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Day 08: Polques</span></strong><br />
<span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Chiguana Desert &#8211; Lagoons &#8211; Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve &#8211; Red Lagoon Sol de Mañana Geyser</span><br />
<span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Start the morning off at 7:00 am with breakfast, before going to visit the Chiguana Desert, located on the south side of the Uyuni salt flats. It is surrounded by volcanoes, such as the Ollague Volcano (5840m), one that is still active, and that can be seen from the lookout.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Continue along a rocky road &#8211; Pasito Tuntun &#8211; to the beautiful Andean lagoons, inhabited by 3 species of Andean flamingos. Marvel at three lagoons on the way: ‘Cañapa’ where you’ll spot the first pink flamingos, ‘Hedionda’ where lunch will be served, and ‘Chiarcota’ where you’ll see a wider variety of birds and altiplanic fauna.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Enter to the Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve, and visit the Desert of Siloli, at 4550m (the highest and driest desert in the world). Make sure you take a photo next to the &#8216;Rock tree&#8217;, a lava rock formation. Before arriving to your final destination of the day, make a stop at the viewpoint by the Red Lagoon, where you can spot more pink flamingos in their natural habitat, and admire this intense, red-colored lake. Stay the night at a shared family lodging, &#8220;HAYLLAJARA&#8221;.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Day 09: Uyuni, Bolivia</span></strong><br />
<span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Dali Desert &#8211; Green Lagoon – Uyuni</span><br />
<span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">At 5 a.m. (depend on the season), you will have an early breakfast and start your tour day with a visit to Sol de Mañana Geyser. You’ll walk alongside fumaroles, and steaming craters filled with boiling pots of mud at 150-200 Cº. Continue to the open air hot springs, and take a bath in 35ºC water.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">The first place to visit is the Dali Desert, where Salvador Dali found inspiration for his work from the scattered boulders in the middle of the desert. See the Green Lagoon &#8211; toxic copper water at the foot of the big Licancabur volcano, which sits at 6000m, a few kilometers from the Bolivia-Chile border.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Finally, you’ll head back to Uyuni, passing beautiful scenery along the way, and eating a picnic lunch next to the roadside. You’ll go by the Valley of the Rocks, the Alota settlement, and the San Cristobal Village.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">We’ll get back to Uyuni by 6:30 pm.On your last day in the desert visit the Dali Pampas to see the landscapes that inspired this famous artist and see the Green Lagoon before returning to Uyuni.</span></p>

Trip by private transport from La Paz with a wonderful view of Lake Titikaka along the route (3 hours) until Copacabana (3 ½ hours), a pleasant town in the shores of Lake. Visit to its church and the famous &#8220;Virgen Morena&#8221;. Trip by boat crossing the Lake to the Island of the Sun (1 hour) until Huacani to have an Aptapi (typical lunch in the highlands), this trip continues by boat up till to the ruins of Pilkokaina Inca temple Finally hike to La Estancia with a wonderful view of Lake Titicaca (1 hour approximately). Overnight in Sun Island Ecolodge La Estancia &#8211; Standard Cabin An amazing spot located in the southern part of the Island of the Sun in Lake Titicaca. It was built preserving the Andean architecture and combining with the modern comfort, always respecting the harmony of the surrounding nature and habitat. The cabins were constructed with adobe brick and thatch roofs, and were set between pre-Inca terraces. We do also use solar energy and recycle waste at all levels</span></p>

Hike down through Yumani visiting the Inca stairs and the Water of the Eternal Youth, then have a trip north by boat to visit Chincana ruins and the Sacred Rock (1 hour); continue by boat to the Island of the Moon (1 hour) and the Inca ruins of Iñak Uyu temple to finally reach Copacabana (1 ½ hours). Private transportation to La Paz (3 ½ hours) with very nice views of the Andes Royal Range.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong><span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Day 04: La Paz</span></strong><br />
<span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">A 4 hours city tour through La Paz, elected as one of the 7 wonder cities in the world. It is in a valley at the foothills of the Andes Range, situated at 3,632m / 11942 ft. above sea level. The tour goes through the street markets rich in handicrafts, weavings and witchcraft items, followed by a visit to the colonial section of the city, San Francisco Church, Gold Museum, Murillo Square also visit to the viewpoint &#8220;Mirador de Killi Killi&#8221;; and the outdoor replica of Tiwanaku temple. Then descending to the more modern, southern part of La Paz to reach and visit the Valley of the Moon, where a clay mountain has been impressively shaped by erosion. Ride by cable car “Teleférico”, it’s an excellent choice to discover an excellent and beautiful view of La Paz. This is a must for every one! Note: cable car ride can change day according to the itinerary</span></p>

<span style="font-family: tahoma, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;">Meeting at the airport and transfer to Uyuni village. 10:00 am enter this unique natural wonder with over 10.582 km2 at 3.692 m.a.s.l. of salt; it is really special! Visit the village of Colchani in the shores to see the locals producing salt. Enter this perfect natural highway to cross it to “Isla Incahuasi” (2 hours), a special habitat of volcanic rocks and giant cactus, Continue north to visit the preColumbian Aique Pucara fort and the nearby chullpares on the foothills of Thunupa volcano, then trip back to Colchani (2 hours), enjoy a beautiful sunset.</span></p>
